Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation seeks a seasoned Pressure Vessel Engineer in the United States to lead project planning from conception to completion. You will ensure design alignment with codes, budgets, and timelines, coordinating with design, procurement, construction, and QA teams.

This senior role requires 8+ years of experience in mechanical/structural engineering, ASME VIII, and pressure vessel design.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with emphasis on pressure vessels.
• ASME VIII code experience is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and MS Office is expected.
• Ability to work with marketing, sales, manufacturing and vendors to translate requirements into specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Provide technical support to Project Management and Aftermarket teams.
• Produce equipment specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials.
• Review general arrangement and detail drawings for accuracy.
• Direct development of layouts, schematics and product designs.
• Evaluate field installations and recommend design changes.
• Interface with vendors/customers on engineering issues and travel as needed.
