Job summary

Atalco Gramercy Operations seeks a maintenance/reliability engineer to lead PRV and pressure system compliance across the plant. You will partner with operations and maintenance to plan and execute inspections, develop procedural controls, and document activities to meet Mechanical Integrity standards.

The role requires strong collaboration with inspectors and vendors, data-driven reliability analysis, and participation in turnarounds.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of maintenance/reliability engineering experience in chemical, refining, or oil & gas industries.
• Solid knowledge of piping systems design and maintenance, pressure vessel specs, inspection techniques, and manpower coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
• Knowledge of industrial codes & standards (API, ASME, ANSI, MSHA, State).

Responsibilities

• Lead site technical resource for piping systems, stationary equipment and PRV compliance.
• Ensure site practices and documentation align with PSM Mechanical Integrity standards.
• Plan, schedule, execute and document PRV, stationary equipment and piping inspections.
• Coordinate with maintenance, inspectors and contractors for repairs per specifications and documentation.
• Develop and update site maintenance and mechanical integrity procedures for pressure systems.
• Lead troubleshooting of pressure systems equipment and provide reliability data for purchases and vendor assessments.
• Assist in planning turnarounds, shutdowns, and special projects involving pressure system components.
