Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field from ABET-accredited university
• Post-undergraduate education in related engineering field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• Experience with pressure systems, controls, and hardware
• High attention to detail with ability to implement short-term fixes and long-term solutions
• Ability to present information to leadership and staff
• Estimates, leads, and delivers work at a project level
• Influences assembly/test design tradeoffs
• Ability to analyze large datasets and designs
• Experience in temperature calibration systems and validation testing
• Performs advanced root cause analysis and countermeasures
• Customizes production methods to automate tasks
• Hands-on experience with multiple manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Work independently or with team to achieve key manufacturing metrics
• Cell support for manufacturing personnel, products, and production equipment
• Juggle daily work with multiple active projects
• Analyze test data and collaborate on problem solving
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting test methods and understanding material limitations
• Evaluate and qualify new parts or suppliers
• Work with supplier/customer to root cause quality issues
