Job summary

The Lakeland Ledger is seeking a full-time Press Operator III to prepare and operate Goss Colorliner presses, maintain press readiness, and keep the pressroom clean and safe. This role requires mechanical aptitude, basic computer familiarity, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push up to 2000 pounds.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in web offset printing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Experience in web offset printing desirable; production experience helpful.
• Mechanical ability and familiarity with computers preferred.
• Ability to adapt to change, prioritize tasks, handle multiple duties, and interact with people patiently.
• Lift up to 100 pounds; push/pull up to 2000 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presses for production and operate presses.
• Clean presses and pressroom; maintain mechanical readiness.
• Assist with daily production on Goss Colorliner presses.
• Maintain safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
