Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Bloomingdale, IL, is seeking a Press Brake Set Up III to set up and adjust tooling and equipment on brake machines for precision bending and forming of metal components. May lead in the absence of a lead or supervisor.

The role requires extensive knowledge of press brake operations, tooling, and programming. You will train operators, ensure safety, monitor processes, and maintain quality through measurement and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating and setting up press brake machines in metal manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Proficient with tooling changes and process adjustments.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Willing to train and lead other operators as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up brake machines and tooling for production per specifications.
• Install and align tooling to prepare for production operations.
• Analyze machines and processes to resolve problems.
• Monitor processes and suggest productivity improvements.
• Perform precision measurement checks using calipers and height gauges.
• Ensure materials are available and maintain clean work areas.
• Train operators and assist as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to safety guidelines.
