Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Presales Leader to drive and coordinate cross-functional teams across North America. You will shape presales strategy, align with Sales, Product, and Strategy, and manage complex proposals for public safety solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in sales enablement, presales, or related fields, with strong change-management and stakeholder engagement skills. This position is a high-visibility role with travel and CJIS security requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record of driving and facilitating organizational change across cross-functional teams and partner organizations.
• 4+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, customer success, military, or public safety, with supervisory experience.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence external stakeholder groups (Sales, Product, Post Sales, Strategy).
• Background in Emergency Call Handling (ECH) or Software (CAD, RMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage presales teams supporting the software and ECH sales teams.
• Drive and facilitate organizational change across internal presales teams and partner organizations to streamline workflows and modernize presales alignment.
• Partner with Sales, Sales Management, Product, Post Sales, and Offer/Strategy teams to ensure alignment on presale strategy, proposal development, and customer solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end presale quoting, proposal generation, SOWs, and system configuration processes for accuracy and alignment.
• Develop and implement standards, schedules, and best practices for RFPs, technical configurations, and complex proposals.
• Serve as liaison to Presale Management, Sales Managers, Engineering Managers, and Product Leadership for high-priority presale activities.
• Establish KPIs, resource allocation strategies, and performance metrics across direct and channel-focused teams.
• Assist in developing broader business plans, go-to-market strategies, and organizational approaches to capitalize on public safety market opportunities.
