Job summary

Great Northern is seeking a Senior Prepress Technical Specialist for the 2nd shift to support graphics and pre-production tasks across Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service. On-site at our Minnesota facility, you will leverage Adobe tools and Esko workflows to produce accurate artwork and optimize proofs and color alignment.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree in graphic communications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years of experience in lithographic print production.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use and interpret graphics software in a print production environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews artwork, structural designs, and layout to enhance producibility.
• Modifies artwork using software to create printable media or satisfy requirements.
• Troubleshoots issues and provides solutions to problems in prepress.
• Converts provided files into printable formats, considering color and workflow.
• Collaborates with Design, Sales, and Production to meet customer needs.
• Works with prepress team to balance workload and optimize processes.
