Job summary

Great Northern is seeking a Prepress Technical Specialist to join our on-site team. You will review and modify artwork for printable media, ensure accurate color and layout, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year degree in Graphic Communication or related field preferred.
• Experience in lithographic print production is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Review artwork, structures, and layouts to improve producibility.
• Modify artwork using software to create printable media.
• Use workflow systems to create/modify artwork accurately and repeatedly.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions.
• Convert provided files into printable formats with correct color and layout.
• Collaborate with Design Team on production-ready outputs.
• Produce original artwork and mockups for customers.
• Output artwork to imaging devices and manage proofs and laminations.
