SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is seeking a seasoned Premium Audit professional for a field role in Pennsylvania. You will audit insureds’ financial records, analyze complex statements, and partner with underwriters to ensure accurate premiums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in Premium Audit, Underwriting, Accounting, or Finance; insurance accounting preferred.
• Progress toward professional designations such as APA, AU, CPCU, or ARM is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts thorough audits of insureds' financial records to verify accuracy of reported premiums.
• Reviews complex financial statements, payroll records, and other documents to identify trends affecting premium accuracy.
• Resolves discrepancies by coordinating with producers, underwriters, insureds and internal departments.
• Evaluates applicability of certificates and class codes to exposures.
• Analyzes claim activity to ensure correct employee coding.
• Prepares detailed audit reports with actionable findings for management.
• Collaborates with underwriters to ensure accurate premium calculations.
• Provides excellent customer service to policyholders during audits.
• May coach staff and participate in talent decisions.
