Job summary

Tennessee Valley Authority, Cumberland Fossil Plant in Cumberland City, TN, seeks a Specialist, Predictive Maintenance B to lead engineering support for PdM technologies including tribology, vibrations, thermography, and data analysis. The role requires ownership of performance testing, data management, and diagnostic reporting.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in a physical or life science or engineering, PdM training, Level I/II certifications, and experience with PM reporting,

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted plant access.
• Willing to travel to plant locations as required for tasks.
• Experience in predictive maintenance methods preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and evaluate PdM tasks for equipment performance.
• Own technologies: tribology, vibrations, thermography and data analysis.
• Develop check sheets, procedures and JSA/GA/SAs as needed.
• Report PdM issues and update work orders; support site CBM.
• Travel to fleet sites as needed.
