Frank Winston Crum Insurance is seeking a Senior Predictive Analytics Analyst to independently apply actuarial, statistical, and predictive analytics to develop pricing models, evaluate profitability, and support strategic decisions. The role partners with leaders to analyze risks and deliver data-driven insights for profitable growth.

The candidate will work with complex datasets, rate filings, and pricing analyses using GLMs, ML techniques, and tools like Akur8, Copilot, and Python, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Three years of relevant insurance/analytical/actuarial experience, especially pricing, preferred.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, validating, and analyzing large insurance datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, BI tools, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data such as premiums, losses, exposure, and claims experience to identify trends, risks, profitability, and opportunities.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances pricing models, rating methodologies, and analyses for profitability and market position.
• Collaborates with departments to implement predictive and pricing models for business decisions using actuarial, statistical, and data science techniques.
• Interacts with Product and external actuarial firms on rate filings and pricing initiatives.
• Interprets data to identify trends and inform underwriting decisions and profitability.
