MCN Build is seeking a motivated Preconstruction Manager with 8 years of estimating experience, focusing on mechanical construction projects. In collaboration with the Project Executive, you’ll lead preconstruction, manage financials, risk, and client relations, ensuring the firm’s schedule and cost targets are met.

You’ll produce design milestone quotes, evaluate costs, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee bid packages.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field
• 8 years of estimating experience with a concentration in mechanical construction projects
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices
• Conceptual ability to work with minimum information and quickly develop an understanding of the client and architect requirements
• Demonstrate imaginative, innovative, and succinct approach to a project
• Excellent oral and written skills required
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite program
• Strong attention to detail and well organized, must be diplomatic with the ability to be discreet when handling confidential information/situations, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Some travel may be required depending on business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the preconstruction phases of projects with management, coordination, and client contact
• Produce progress estimates at design milestones and evaluate material and system costs
• Review document progress, coordination, and build subcontractor/vendor relationships
• Perform detailed take-offs and estimating, define bid package scopes
• Oversee subcontractor/supplier bidding processes and bid package development
