Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction estimating and preconstruction management for general contracting, construction management, or design-build firms.
• Experience with public sector projects and complex, high-value pursuits.
• Leadership of subcontractor solicitation, bid review, negotiation, and buyout on multi-package projects.

Responsibilities

• Own preconstruction strategy and execution on large public sector pursuits from master planning to GMP and subcontractor buyout.
• Lead as primary preconstruction client contact and partner with owners/design teams.
• Direct scope development, unit-rate pricing, and line-item estimates, with final GMP sign-off.
• Mentor junior estimators and staff; provide technical oversight.
• Contribute to major pursuits with cost strategy, interviews, and client presentations.
• Maintain organized cost databases and documentation in core systems (Destini, Smartsheet).
