Job summary

The Chief Estimator partners with Operations, Project Managers, and leadership to develop bid strategies, value engineering options, and risk analyses to ensure profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Experience with reviewing drawings, specs, and contract documents
• Proficiency in Office software and estimating tools
• Knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and labor productivity

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and design-development estimates
• Prepare and finalize bid tabulations and price proposals
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing and manage bid submissions
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and exclusions; propose value engineering options
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align bid strategy with execution plan
