Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering for civil infrastructure projects. You will review plans, identify risks, and prepare competitive bids while mentoring a team of estimators and coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of preconstruction experience, strong civil construction knowledge, and proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid and B2W Estimate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CM, CE, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive preconstruction/estimating experience in civil infrastructure.
• Proven track record in managing complex preconstruction projects and profitable bids.
• Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, paving, and structural concrete.
• Proficiency with estimating software (HCSS/ B2W) and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire preconstruction process including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering for civil projects.
• Review plans and documents to identify risks, opportunities, and constructability issues.
• Develop comprehensive, competitive bid proposals with detailed cost breakdowns.
