Job summary

Sky Mavis is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will lead management of preconstruction efforts, collaborate with various team members to pursue new project opportunities, and prepare compelling proposals. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field. Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in estimating for commercial construction.
• Proven track record in leading project pursuits across multiple market sectors.
• Deep knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders to pursue new project opportunities.
• Lead development of project scopes and proposals.
• Create detailed conceptual estimates and scopes of work.
• Prepare and present final estimates to clients.
• Review construction schedules for value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor junior estimating staff.
• Maintain master subcontractor/vendor lists.
