Job summary

DEW Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimation and preconstruction process for multiple projects. You will mentor the team, coordinate with owners and design teams, and ensure alignment with DEW’s standards from award through GMP/start of construction.

The role requires a 4-year degree in a related field and 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with proficiency in Timberline, OST, Building Connected, and Procore. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience as PM/Project Engineer or in Pre-construction for a commercial company.
• Experience with estimating software such as Timberline, On-Screen Take-off, Procore.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimation for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with Owners and Design Team and document requirements.
• Develop project strategies to maximize client value and communicate with leadership.
• Assist in buyout, budgeting, and schedule development to prevent overruns.
