Job summary

DEW Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead project estimates, develop takeoffs, and coordinate with subs. The right candidate will interpret specifications, review options, and prepare thorough scopes of work for bidding.

If you have a 4-year engineering degree, 10+ years of estimating, CPM scheduling skills, and experience with Timberline and On-Screen Take-off, you will fit in a collaborative team focused on profitable projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of estimating and cost control management experience.
• CPM conceptual scheduling skills.
• Familiar estimating projects of varying size; $100,000 to $75+MM.
• Experience with estimating software: Timberline, On-Screen Take-off, Building Connected, etc.

Responsibilities

• Interprets specifications, drawings and attends pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and estimate contents.
• Investigates site conditions before bidding and identifies waste, borrow areas, dumpsites.
• Develops self-performed scopes and reviews with General Superintendent as needed.
• Reviews design options and recommends the best cost-effective solution.
• Prepares estimates by calculating complete takeoffs and pricing items.
