Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead budgets, strategies, and client engagement from day one. This role collaborates with owners, architects, and project teams to define budgets and schedules and to shape GMP development for diverse projects, including K-12, higher education, municipal facilities, and large commercial developments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in general contracting with a strong preconstruction or estimating

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general contracting experience with a strong focus on preconstruction or estimating.
• Ability to bridge technical estimating with client-facing presentations.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, Procore, or equivalent tools; training available for other systems.
• Professional certifications (CPE, DBIA, LEED AP, PMP, PE, etc.) are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts with owners, architects, and project teams to define budgets, schedules, and strategies.
• Manage conceptual and detailed estimates, historical cost analyses, and GMP development.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement, bids, and scope reviews.
• Present budgets and proposals to clients with confidence and clarity.
• Mentor and support estimating staff while upholding company mission, vision, and values.
