Job summary

Nscale in United States, New York, is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Preconstruction who will lead a team of Preconstruction Managers and Analysts, owning integrated CapEx proformas and performance analysis across data center projects.

This player-coach role sets the standard for technical excellence, drives process improvements, and collaborates with Finance, Commercial, and Operations to ensure optimal capital deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in preconstruction or construction management.
• Experience leading a team of managers or estimators.
• Data center or mission-critical facility experience preferred.
• Strong CapEx proformas and cash flow modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Preconstruction Managers and Analysts.
• Own CapEx proformas, cash flow ledgers, and constructability analysis.
• Review estimates, pricing validations, and budget reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capital deployment.
