Qualifications

• 10+ years of estimating, cost control, and construction experience; experience with a general contractor on large-scale projects
• 6+ years leading, developing and motivating teams
• Familiar with conceptual, detailed, and self-perform estimating; knowledge of various delivery methods (Lump Sum, Progressive GMP, TVD, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build)
• Knowledge of local subcontractor market; ability to build relationships with owners, designers and trade contractors
• Strong communication, leadership, and ethical standards

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to client engagement, contract administration, budget, schedule, procurement, and design management
• Oversee overall financial management from project start to contract execution
• Facilitate preconstruction meetings coordinating design, budget, and schedule
• Lead, train and develop team members
• Prepare and submit monthly status updates for preconstruction activities
• Lead subcontractor engagement strategy across all preconstruction stages
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, and design firms
• Establish deadlines and monitor progress
• Lead strategies to achieve minority participation goals
• Acquire new work by maintaining client, trade partner, and design relationships
• Foster an environment of inclusion and diversity
