Job summary

Urban League of Nebraska seeks a Senior Preconstruction Manager to shape which projects we pursue and how we set up teams before ground is broken. The role leads preconstruction and estimating across a portfolio of commercial projects, develops cost models and strategic pricing, and collaborates early with owners, architects, and engineers to shape scope and constructability.

You will mentor a growing team, drive Lean and VDC integration, and partner with HR and leadership to recruit and develop

Qualifications

• 10+ years of preconstruction or estimating experience in commercial construction.
• 5+ years leading and developing estimating teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preconstruction and Estimating across a portfolio of commercial projects.
• Develop detailed cost models and strategic pricing reflecting market conditions.
• Guide early design collaboration with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Oversee workload, quality control, and timelines for active pursuits.
