Job summary

The Beck Group seeks a Senior Preconstruction Engineer to join our project team and lead preconstruction efforts for $0M–$5M scopes. You will provide accurate takeoffs, develop estimates, and manage project documentation using industry-standard tools.

You will mentor junior engineers, interact with subcontractors, and support client presentations. Strong knowledge of DESTINI Estimator/Profiler, BIM360, Revit, Procore and Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant construction and/or preconstruction experience.
• College graduate with a relevant degree.
• Experience with estimating software/tools including DESTINI Estimator/Profiler, BIM360, Revit, Procore and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quantity takeoffs and initial pricing.
• Independently estimate Interior, Envelope, Site, and Structure Scopes with minimal direction.
• Organize and develop an estimate using UniFormat, MasterFormat (49 Divisions), and a Bid Tabulation.
• Develop and maintain project documents (estimates, drawings/models, etc.) in a consistent structure.
• Supervise and mentor Preconstruction Engineers and Interns.
• Participate in client presentations and preconstruction deliverables.
