Job summary

RyconConstruction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager / Estimator for mission critical/data center projects. You will lead preconstruction and estimating activities from concept through GMP and construction start.

The role requires experience with data center systems, strong stakeholder management, and ability to drive cost models, budgets, and value engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in estimating and preconstruction, incl. 5+ years on mission critical/data center projects.
• Experience delivering conceptual through GMP estimates for hyperscale data centers.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems (electrical, cooling, UPS).

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating for mission critical/data center projects from concept through GMP.
• Manage relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and subs.
• Develop budgets, cost models, and benchmarking analyses for clients and leadership.
• Lead value engineering and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining schedule objectives.
• Coordinate bid packages and subcontractor procurement for mission critical systems.
• Monitor market conditions and maintain cost data in estimating databases.
