Job summary

Rycon Construction seeks an experienced Project Manager for its Washington, D.C. office to lead mission critical/data center projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, and trades while coordinating owners, architects, engineers, and subs to deliver on time and within scope.

Strong client relations and risk mitigation are essential. Requirements include 5+ years PM experience on data center or commercial builds exceeding $100M, proficiency with MS Project,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, including mission critical/data center projects.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $100M+.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of mission critical/data center projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review documents, contracts, drawings, and specs to ensure project success.
• Maintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety goals across multiple projects.
• Develop, award, and administer subcontracts.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive project success.
• Lead meetings, document actions, and manage submittals, RFIs, and cost reports.
• Support budgeting, estimating, procurement, and change orders.
• Ensure commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities are completed.
