Dandy in the South Bay is seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to design and integrate the mechatronic architecture of our next-generation Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) for manufacturing bespoke prosthetics.

With 6+ years in hardware, mechatronics, or robotics engineering, you will bridge high-level robotic theory with hands-on execution, integrating actuators, sensors, and motion control into a cohesive platform. This is a hybrid role supporting global expansion.

Competenze

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong background in mechatronics for production systems.
• Proven ability to work as an individual contributor and scale a team.
• Experience with system-level architecture and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Hands-on hardware experience with actuators, sensors, and control systems.

Mansioni

• Architect and integrate complex robotic hardware systems for precision prosthetic manufacturing.
• Apply expertise in additive and subtractive manufacturing processes for SPMs.
• Lead rapid prototyping and conduct structural/thermal analyses; perform FMEA.
