Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; master's degree could be beneficial.
• At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, especially in precision optics or related industries such as semiconductors, lasers, or aerospace, with at least 7 years in leadership.
• Proven track record managing manufacturing operations with a focus on high-precision products.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced to company standards and timelines.
• Oversee production schedules and ensure efficient use of resources to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Ensure all products meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to implement inspection protocols, identify defects, and initiate corrective actions.
• Analyze production processes and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to optimize workflows and minimize waste.
