Job summary

Rocketdyne in Redmond, WA is seeking a precision Machinist for our in-house machine shop. This DAY SHIFT position runs Monday to Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules.

You’ll read GD&T and drawings, set up CNC and conventional machines, and maintain tight tolerances to produce propulsion components for electric thrusters and related systems. Preferred: High School diploma and 6+ years close-tolerance machining experience with aluminum, tool steels,

• Must read and interpret GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Must perform close-tolerance machining with tight tolerances.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Read GD&T and drawings, setup CNC and conventional machines.
• Run jobs with tight tolerances, maintain <+/-0.0001"> accuracy.
• Maintain low rejection rate and use precision measuring tools.
