We are seeking a precision Machinist to join our Machine Shop in Redmond, Washington. This is a 2nd SHIFT POSITION and typically works Mondays - Thursdays from 3:30AM – 2:00AM, but candidates must be willing and available to work other shifts or overtime as needed to meet delivery schedules. In our Redmond, WA, site (Seattle area), we fabricate, assemble, and test chemical and electric thrusters, as well as small scale propulsion systems. Our electric propulsion systems enable a wide variety of missions from the exploration of our solar system to global communication and the surveillance of severe weather and wildfires.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 10+ years of related experience in close tolerance machining experience. Knowledge of machining materials such as aluminum, tool, alloy, carbon steels, stainless steel, titanium, plastics and Inconel is preferred. Must understand and be able to use trigonometry. Requires the willingness and ability to work overtime as necessary.
