Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands‑on machining experience.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D model review.
• Excellent blueprint reading, GD&T fluency, and mechanical problem‑solving ability.
• Demonstrated success with CNC setup and complex machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Own setups and production on CNC mills, lathes, and mill‑turn equipment in a high‑mix, low-volume environment.
• Interpret prints and 3D models, applying GD&T and tight tolerance strategies.
• Review and prove out CNC programs using Mastercam and NCSimul before chips fly.
• Leverage Renishaw probing and tool-setting to speed alignment and verify features.
• Machine intricate parts from exotic and heat‑resistant alloys to exacting standards.
• Perform in-process inspections with precision measuring tools and hand metrology.
• Troubleshoot issues at the spindle and continuously refine setups, cycle times, and quality.
• Maintain clear, accurate work order and process records in ProShop ERP.
