Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks an experienced machinist to set up and operate manual lathes and mills, producing components per prints with tight tolerances. You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, inspect parts with precision tools, and adjust tooling and speeds to uphold quality.

Qualifications

Read and apply engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Interpret GD&T callouts and tolerances for close-tolerance work.
Perform precision inspection using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

Set up and run manual lathes and mills to produce components per prints.
Inspect parts during operations and ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Select tooling and fixtures; adjust feeds/speeds for accuracy.
Maintain clean, organized workspace and safe operation practices.
Assist with basic preventive maintenance and address equipment issues.
