DRS RADA Technologies in Germantown, MD is hiring a Senior Assembler for the 1st shift on-site. This full-time position requires adherence to work instructions, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

You will assemble various sub-assemblies, read blueprints, support LEAN initiatives, and collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty area e.g. welding, tool making

Responsabilidades

• Produce quality work to prescribed standards with a focus on meeting customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
• Follow written work instructions.
• Work under minimal supervision on non-routine tasks, adapting procedures to meet special needs.
• Communicate effectively with other functional departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales.
• Participate in LEAN events and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform assembly functions from models/drawings including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, PCB sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.
• Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions and other written or verbal instructions.
• Assist in training lower level employees.
• Maintain a safe work environment and proper PPE.
