Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Systems Engineer (Pre Sales) to design and develop tactical communications solutions for international customers.

You will work with the regional sales team, customers, and partners to translate complex requirements into capable system architectures. The role demands strong systems engineering expertise, ability to travel, and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to win new business and support proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or computer engineering (BSEE or BSCE) required; minimum 6 years in systems engineering or product design engineering.
• Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering (MSEE or MSCE) preferred; minimum 4 years related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and capture activities including requirements definition, architecture development, system design and integration.
• Provide tactical communications expertise for CONOPS and customer engagements.
• Identify new opportunities for Tactical Communications and networked systems offerings.
• Serve as voice of the customer for feedback to engineering and product lines.
• Demo and showcase new products and features to customers to generate interest.
• Support front-end business development activities and customer visits.
• Estimate non-recurring engineering and recurring costs.
• Provide short-term technical support to customers when needed.
• Work with engineering managers and teams to align on priorities and delivery.
• Travel domestically and internationally ~25%.
