NexGen Contracting, the self-perform arm of Gray, seeks a seasoned Pre-Construction Services Manager for Concrete & Steel in Franklin, TN. Lead the estimating team, drive bid strategy, and oversee the entire preconstruction phase to align with company goals.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in estimating/preconstruction, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore and related tools. Travel as required; visa sponsorship not provided.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field with ≥10 years in estimating and preconstruction management.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, Sage Estimating, Planswift).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and financial responsibility.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Mansioni

• Oversee the entire preconstruction process from concept through turnover.
• Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring accurate, timely cost estimates and bids.
• Develop and implement strategies for competitive bidding and cost management.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders on objectives.
• Review RFPs, perform quantity take-offs, develop detailed estimates.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the estimating team.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor preconstruction KPIs and report to senior leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
