Job summary

Integrated Power USA, part of TotalEnergies’ renewables platform, is seeking a Pre-Construction Engineer in Austin, TX. You will bridge Development and Execution, lead crossing agreements, and coordinate with EPC, Real Estate, Legal, GIS, and consultants to ensure constructability and schedule compliance.

The role emphasizes proactive ownership, documentation discipline, and effective cross-functional collaboration across legal, real estate, and engineering interfaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in development, design/construction, and cross-organization coordination.
• Experience in preconstruction, project engineering, or design coordination for utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to review concept/preliminary designs for constructability and project interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead crossing program ownership and coordination across internal functions, crossing agents, and external entities.
• Oversee lifecycle of crossing agreements, permits, licenses, and related documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, Real Estate, GIS, and consultants to keep layouts aligned with designs and schedules.
• Perform high-level review of exhibits, QA/QC, and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Maintain audit-ready crossing records and manage risks, issues, and decisions.
• Provide concise reporting, lead status meetings, and escalate blockers as needed.
• Support early-stage design reviews and orderly handoff to construction and operations.
