Job summary

ENFRA LLC is hiring a Pre-Commissioning Technician IV to support startup and repair of equipment in the energy infrastructure sector. The role includes mentoring newer technicians and developing system knowledge across hydronic, VRF, and chiller operations.

Responsibilities include startup of less complex equipment, assisting with more complex machinery, and reviewing submittals for voltage/amps/HP accuracy. Occasional after-hours work is expected.

Qualifications

• 20 hours of continued education.
• 8+ years' experience.
• EPA 608 Certification.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70 certification.
• Exposure to more complex system concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to develop skills through mentorship, continuing education and hands-on activity: Safety Habits, Copper Tube Brazing, Soft Skills, Time Management, Troubleshooting System Knowledge, Hydronic Systems, VRF Systems, Chiller Operation.
• Learning and development is central to being a Pre-Commissioning Technician.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Startup: starting up less complex equipment; assist higher level technicians with complex equipment, gather model #s, serial #s, belt and filter sizes.
• Diagnose and Repair: assist more senior technicians troubleshooting problems and repairing them.
• Support for Operations: assist with system flushing, TAB, setting PRVs, maintaining belts, greasing bearings and motors before turnover.
• Review of Submittal Documents: verify equipment on job and submittal match voltage/amps/HP/etc.
• Mentoring of Other Employees: not expected to provide direct mentoring to other employees.
• After Hours Work: overtime on occasion.
