Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2–4 years of relevant work experience in contracts and grants.
• Working knowledge of contracts and grants transactions and applicable financial systems.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations, policies, and guidelines (federal/state/local/sponsor/institutional).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-award sponsored research activities for proposal submissions and award administration.
• Assist PIs with tasks related to sponsored proposals and awards.
• Collaborate with SPA’s Research Administrators to interpret sponsor regulations and policies.
• Deliver and lead internal and external training initiatives.
