Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead psychological care in urgent care pathways. The role spans Home Treatment Team and Mental Health Liaison, supporting clients in crisis and with physical health needs.

You will supervise psychologists and MDT staff, contribute to service development, and provide training and consultation to community and hospital teams. Strong communication and holistic care are essential.

Formación

• Registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
• Experience in crisis care or urgent/community settings
• Ability to supervise and train MDT staff and psychologists

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality psychological care for those in crisis and with mental health needs in the context of physical health conditions
• Supervise qualified and trainee psychologists and MDT professionals as appropriate
• Contribute to service development with the lead psychologist to meet local and national objectives
• Offer training and consultation to MDT professionals in community and acute settings
• Collaborate across Transitions services and Clinical Health Services to support seamless care transitions
• Maintain excellent communication with teams in acute and community settings to support positive outcomes
• Maintain holistic views of client needs and share with other professionals
