Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation in Austell, GA is seeking an experienced administrator to support day-to-day operations across a network of practices. You will work with the Director of Physician Operations to implement programs and oversee staffing to maintain efficient, safe patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and leadership experience in healthcare settings; alternative experience can substitute per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Health Administration required.
• In lieu of degree, six years of relevant work experience accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
• 4 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital or other health care setting with leadership experience.
• In lieu of degree a total of ten years of experience required.
• None required licences or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supports the overall day-to-day administrative and clinical activities of a practice.
• Works with Director of Physician Operations to help implement and oversee operational activities and programs to ensure the attainment of the business plans.
• Works collaboratively with area director and practice physicians to ensure the efficient and effective daily operation of assigned practices including but not limited to the supervision and evaluation of the practice staff.
• Ensures that each office maintains an effective operating environment, assuring efficient and safe operations of all services in response to patient, physician and staff needs.
• The scope is medium based on providers, staff and locations.
