Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Inc. seeks an experienced administrator to support the Emergency Department at Piedmont Atlanta.

The role coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management, ensuring efficient workflows and acting as a working supervisor as needed. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of medical office/healthcare experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; three years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree accepted
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred
• Three years of medical office/healthcare experience required or six years if no degree

Responsibilities

• Coordinates physician practice operations and provides administrative support to management of the physician practice(s).
• Proactively supports efforts that ensure efficient operations and may function as a working supervisor.
• Oversees a small (1 to 3 physicians) practice or assists practice manager with a large (6+ physicians) practice(s)
