Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Practice Manager III to supervise operational, administrative and HR functions across large multi-specialty clinics, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient flow and staff coordination in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, at least seven years in medical offices, three years of supervisory experience, and current BLS certification (or within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required plus seven years of progressive medical office experience in registration, back-office, scheduling or billing.
• Minimum of three years healthcare supervisory or management experience.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in Financial Management, Quality Improvement, Project Management and Program Development.
• Excellent communication and staff supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: maintains clinic schedules for all clinical providers across locations and manages patient flow.
• Supervises front desk and MOA staff, including onboarding and training materials.
• Manages patient relations, addresses complaints, and ensures service excellence.
• Oversees revenue processes, claims, and basic financial oversight within the practice.
• Ensures regulatory and safety compliance and coordinates with facilities and IT as needed.
• Participates in credentialing for new providers and performance reviews.
