Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Principal Engineer for Probabilistic Risk Assessments in a remote-based role. You will join the Risk Analysis team reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk Analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in PRA for nuclear plants, and preferably an advanced degree or PE license. You will lead global teams, conduct PRA work, present to customers and regulators, and mentor early-career engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience with PRA model development for nuclear plants.
• Advanced degree and/or PE license is a plus.
• Knowledge of PWR reactor operations and PRA methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform probabilistic risk assessments for complex nuclear plant systems across risk and hazard types.
• Lead global project teams, ensuring technical scope, schedules, and budgets are met.
• Present technical topics to customers and regulatory bodies.
• Mentor engineers and lead knowledge-management initiatives.
