Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Engineer for its Risk Analysis team. This US-based remote role offers the opportunity to perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems, lead global project teams, and mentor early-career engineers.
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and proficiency with PRA software. The position comes with a competitive salary range of $103,200 to $129,000.
Qualifications
- 10+ years professional experience with minimum 7 years of experience with PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants.
- Advanced degree and/or Professional Engineer license considered a plus.
- Peer Review experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems.
- Lead global project teams and contribute to technical scope execution.
- Support and identify strategic initiatives, develop product offerings.
