Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Specialist in Public Relations to drive communications strategies and media relations on behalf of Blue Origin. The ideal candidate will have proven product launch and storytelling experience, preferably within the high-tech and space industries.

This is an individual contributor role within the Blue Origin Communications & Marketing team. You are not only a news enthusiast with strong reporter relationships but also a meticulous and world-class writer and copy

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations is preferred.
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in communications.
• Data-Driven: Comfortable leveraging data and analytics to develop stories.
• Eagerness to learn about cutting-edge industry trends and innovation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitasking: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to inclusion.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national or lawful resident per export controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop communications strategies and campaigns.
• Content Creation: Write and edit press materials and internal collateral.
• Media Relations: Serve as primary contact for media and influencers; plan activations.
• Media Monitoring and Reporting: Use analytics to measure impact and optimize strategies.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry developments and digital platforms.
