Job summary

Slate is seeking an experienced Public Relations and Communications Program Manager to run the day-to-day and long-term operations of the communications department. You will collaborate with Marketing, Fleet, and Distribution to align programs with business priorities and ensure timely delivery.

You will own budgets, timelines, and status across active PR projects and work with Design and Engineering to integrate comms into product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in program management, communications, or PR.
• Proficiency in Smartsheets, MS Office and project management software.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day and long-term operations of the communications department.
• Build scalable processes and track timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Fleet, and Distribution to align programs.
• Coordinate with PM, Design, and Engineering to integrate PR into timelines.
• Serve as a key contact for cross-functional communications planning.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for events and media activations with fleet.
