Job summary

Slate is seeking a Public Relations and Communications Program Manager to run day-to-day operations and shape long-term strategies from its USA base. You’ll partner with Marketing, Fleet, and Design to embed PR into product timelines and events, ensuring ready vehicles and compelling brand presence.

The role emphasizes detail-oriented planning, budget tracking, and proactive risk management across multiple programs, with opportunities to influence slate visibility and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in program management, communications, or PR, with a track record of running programs independently.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day and long-term operations of the communications department, including planning, timelines, and program tracking.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Fleet, Distribution, Program Management, Design and Engineering to align communications with product timelines.
• Coordinate vehicle readiness for events and media activations and track readiness against calendars.
• Identify opportunities for Slate to appear at events, in media, and through partnerships aligning with brand goals.
• Maintain records, timelines, and status updates across all active programs and anticipate risks.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
