Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is expanding its marketing division and seeking an SEO Strategist to own strategy, performance, and client leadership across paid search, paid social, SEO and conversion optimization. This senior, hybrid role combines strategic thinking with execution oversight and collaboration on sales calls to shape client roadmaps.

You will manage internal and external specialists, drive measurable outcomes, and present results to clients on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in PPC/SEO or multi-channel strategy.
• Experience running paid and organic channels concurrently.
• Proficient with Google Ads, GA4, GSC and keyword research tools.
• Ability to articulate strategic recommendations to clients and sales teams.
• Track record of overseeing execution teams and delivering high-quality work.
• Strong analytical skills with rapid issue diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for all PPC and SEO clients across industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and pitch recommendations.
• Create 90 day, 6 month and annual growth roadmaps for clients.
• Own client performance across paid channels and organic search.
• Audit campaigns, keywords, bidding, landing pages and CRO opportunities.
• Oversee technical and on-page SEO, link-building, and AI-driven content.
• Track KPIs, attribution and analytics accuracy.
• Coordinate priorities with the marketing project manager.
• Present monthly and quarterly performance summaries to clients.
