Job summary

Baxter in Cleveland is seeking an Operator V - PPB Packing to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where moving products quickly and accurately matters. You will work in the Plastic Pour Bottle Packing area, ensuring quality and timely delivery of products that sustain lives.

The role requires basic technical skills, forklift experience preferred, and a commitment to safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional technical training a plus.
• Mechanical proficiency and comfort with manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential duties for Plastic Pour Bottle Packing operations including inspection, batch documentation, and maintaining bottle flow on packing lines.
• Set up machine parameters per operating procedures and develop operational understanding of department equipment.
• Perform line clearance, quality checks, material movement, and required mechanical adjustments to equipment.
• Operate the label machine as required and ensure product acceptability using blueprints, specs, BOMs, and SOPs.
• Enter production data in applicable systems and report abnormalities with corrective actions to supervision.
• Follow Good Documentation Practices and participate in Lean and continuous improvement efforts.
