Baxter International Inc. in Cleveland seeks an Operator V - PPB Packing to support plastic bottle packing operations. You will ensure smooth production flow, perform quality checks, and document batches while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to interpret specifications. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work long shifts; training and Lean initiatives are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical training a plus.
• Mechanical proficiency required.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively and stand for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential duties for Plastic Pour Bottle Packing production operations, including stack-off, visual inspection, batch documentation, and maintaining bottle flow on packing lines.
• Develop detailed operational understanding for all department equipment; set-up machine parameters per SOPs.
• Perform line clearance, quality checks, material movement, and required mechanical adjustments to equipment.
• Run label machine as required and ensure product acceptability using blueprints and BOMs.
• Enter production data in applicable systems and report abnormalities to supervision.
• Participate in Lean exercises and continuous improvement activities.
