Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Operator V - PPB Packing to support plastic pour bottle production.

You will move quickly in a fast-paced environment, perform line operations, and ensure quality and on-time output while collaborating with a skilled team. You will be involved in packaging, inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts, with responsibilities spanning from setup to data entry and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
• Familiarity with quality and safety procedures is a plus.
• Mechanical proficiency required.
• Trained as forklift driver preferred.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging duties for Plastic Pour Bottle Packing, including line operations, inspection, and batch documentation.
• Develop detailed operational understanding for all department equipment and set up machine parameters as needed.
• Perform line clearance, quality checks, material movement, and equipment adjustments.
• Run label machine as required.
• Use blueprints, BOMs, and SOPs to ensure product acceptance.
• Enter production data in applicable systems and report abnormalities to supervision.
• Support training of new personnel and participate in Lean and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain 6S housekeeping and lead related responsibilities.
• Cover Material Handler duties as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
